Misbah up Haq, the captain of Pakistani cricket team, has announced that the upcoming world cup 2015 will end his ODI career. Misbah said that it is the right time after world cup 2015 to finish his one day career and he took the decision after consultation from his close friends and family but his test match career will remain continue even after world cup. He said he will not mention his choice for new ODI captain of Pakistan as it will displease few persons but the PCB should have confidence on the next captain like him. The team will try its best to win the world cup 2015.
Misbah added that he is happy with the way he played his cricket and his aim is to make few hundred in the world cup 2015 to finish his career with pride. His career as a captain was very good and he learned a lot during this period. He is hopeful about getting full fitness before world cup 2015.
So far, Misbah has scored 4669 runs in the 153 ODI matches that he played for Pakistan while he also played 39 T20 matches and 53 test matches for Pakistan.
