Yasir Shah is young Pakistani spinner, who started his international career in 2011, when he played his first one day international match against Zimbabwe. In the first ODI, he took two wickets of Tatenda Taibu and Vusi Sibanda after giving away 51 runs.

Born in 1986 at Swabi, he played the domestic cricket and got the reputation of classical leg spin bowler. He is well-known for his googlies, leg spin and flippers and he can disturb the concentration of the batsmen with his spinning balls.

He made his test debut on 22 October 2014, when he played his first test match against Australia. The series was played in United Arab Emirates and he took so much wickets that he completed his first 50 test wickets in short time. He is the fastest Pakistani bowlers, who got 50 wickets in very less test matches. He is the great asset for Pakistan as he can play well and good addition in the spin battery of bowling.
