Former captain Shahid Afridi said that he has no problem to play one more match and it is not suitable for him to request for his farewell match after playing cricket for 20 years. It’s enough for him that people like him as he plays for Pakistan not for PCB. The all rounder told that he will not enter politics in future as he is helping people through his ‘Shahid Afridi Foundation’ while serving people is the aim of politics.
Shahid Afridi said that Pakistan always remained ready to play series against India but BCCI always run away from the series due to pressure from their politicians. If BCCI wants to progress cricket then they have to make a separate organization and don’t take influence from politicians.
On current Pakistani performance, the star cricket said that you can’t expect performance from Pakistan on Australian and New Zealand pitches after playing continuously in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Before sending the players to such ground, PCB should prepare them on good pitches earlier.
He said while replying a question that the creation of Asian Block should be there 50 years before as most of the cricket lovers are in Asia.
