Pakistan team has now 1 more point than West Indies which means they are on the brink of 9th position in ODI. The 7th spot team Bangladesh has 10 more points than Pakistan while the teams of South Africa, New Zealand and England have chances to improve their ODI rankings.
After the defeat of 2-0 in ODIs at the hands of New Zealand, now Pakistan has only 87 points which is just 1 more than the number 9 team West Indies while Bangladesh has 97 points and it is at 7th position. The only good news for national team is that they will only play T20 matches in the near future but it can decline further after some time due to its matches against top teams.
Apart from that, the ODI matches between Australia and New Zealand and England v South Africa can change the rankings and pints of these teams. With 112 points, New Zealand is at 3rd spot while it is 16 points away from number 1 team Australia. New Zealand will achieve 116 points and 114 points after winning the 3 match series against Australia 3-0 and 2-1 respectively. On the other hand, Australia’s top position will remain unchanged even after losing the series against New Zealand 3-0. A five match ODI series will be played between the teams of England and South Africa. England and South Africa are at 6th and 4th position in ODIs respectively while both teams can improve their rankings by performing well in their mutual series.
