All rounder M Hafeez has gone to Australia for biomechanic test. On Thursday, his bowling test will be taken in Brisbane in a biomechanic lab. He is hopeful about clearing this test and then will perform well to regain the title of no. 1 all rounder.

Last year, Hafeez’s bowling action was reported after which he could not clear his biiomechanic test in Chennai due to which he was banned for bowling for 12 months by ICC. This period was ended in July this year but Hafeez wasn’t ready for test due to fitness problems. He returned back from England after just one match of the English tour due to his bad form and fitness. But he wasn’t included in series against West Indies despite his recovery. This provided him time to improve his action in National Cricket Academy.

During English tour, a biochemist was also acquired for him for few days. Now the all rounder has gone to Australia as ICC has given the date of 17th November to him for his biomechanic test in Brisbane. Hafeez said before his departure that he has worked hard and is hopeful about clearing this test. He claimed improvement in action hasn’t affected his bowling performance. According to PCB Chairman, Hafeez has to clear this test if he wants to rejoin the team.
