Inzamam ul Haq is the chief selector of the national cricket team of Pakistan and he talked with media and said that his prayers are with the team and the players should perform for the team. He said that Shahid Afridi should improve his cricket and he will be selected in the national team as and when he will be required in the national team. He said that Muhammad Aamer is very talented Pakistani bowler but his bowling is not clicked and he is not performance as he used to perform previously. He is also not happy with the performance of the leading Pakistani batsman, Asad Shafique. He said that he has great talent and capability to play well and play a long inning but he is failed to show his performance for the national team.
He said that there are many talented players, which are playing in the domestic cricket and it is necessary to organize the talent and the talented players will be called in the training camp to give proper training. He said that Misbah ul Haq is not available with the national team and in his absence; Azhar Ali will be the captain of the national team. He can get advice from the senior player, Younis Khan, which can be good guide for him in the test cricket. He said that our team needs confidence and tolerance and there are many capable coaches in the academy.
He said that his favorite bowlers were Waqar and Waseem while he likes Brian Lara and Viv Richards as batsmen. He showed good hopes with Sharjeel Khan as he can score well if he stays on the crease. He also like Virat Kohli and Hashim Amla as these two players are good batsmen of the present time. He said that he gave the punishment to Ahmed Shahzad and Umar Akmal for their misconduct. He also allowed Salman Butt that he can start domestic cricket. He said that Pakistan cricket board is managing PSL and the final of the PSL will be conducted in Lahore, which is good for the international cricket to restore in the country. He prayed for Junaid Khan as he was operated upon and he will take time to regain his form.
