South Africa is also a leading team in international cricket and always played good cricket against tough rivals. They could not participate in the first 4 world cups since 1975 to 1987 due to political reasons and 1992 world cup was their first world cup. Since then, they have participated in all the 6 world cups. They reached the semi-finals of the world cup 3 times in 1992, 1999 and 2007 but lost their matches against England, Australia and again Australia respectively.
