International Cricket Council has announced the names of umpires and referees for the pool stage of World Cup 2015. Aleem Dar from Pakistan is also included in the umpires’ panel of ICC world cup. IC has announced the names of referees and umpires for the mega event which will be played from 14th February to 29th March 2015.
First match of the event will be played between Sri Lanka and New Zealand in which Marais Erasmus and Nigel Llong will be field umpires. David Boon will be match referee while S Ravi and Simon Fry will be 4th umpires. The second match of the day will be played between Australia and England in which Aleem Dar and Kumar Dharmasena will be the umpires. 12 umpires of ICC elite panel will perform their services for the tournament which will be continued for 44 days. These include Bruce Oxenford, Ian Gould, Paul Reiffel, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough, Rod Tucker and Steve Davis.
