PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan says that Ahmed Shahzad and Umar Akmal were dropped from the team in order to make an example for others as they were disturbing the atmosphere of the dressing room.
He said while talking to media in National Stadium Karachi that the new fielding coach of Pakistan cricket team is Australian Sean Hayes while head coach Mickey Arthur will be consulted before appointment of supporting staff. He thinks it unnecessary to made long term agreements with the supporting staff.

Chairman PCB also said that he is not taking salary for his job while he is the first elected chairman of the board. He is going to England on vacations while news about his resignation are false.
