Aaqib Javed as Director of Lahore Qalandars

Aaqib Javed, former Pakistani fast bowler, has decided to serve Pakistan for which he resigned from coaching of UAE team. Now he will perform the duties of director of Lahore Qalandars team of Pakistan Super League. There are also reports that Aaqib Javed could send application for national team’s coach. It is also expected that he will talk about the coaching issue in couple of days during his meeting with PCB Chairman Shahriyar Khan and Mudassir Nazar.
It should be remembered that Aaqib started coaching responsibilities of UAE team in 2012 while he is unhappy about the efforts of coach finding committee of Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja. He didn’t give application for national team coach because the committee was finding foreign coach for Pakistani team.
