Dubai, International Cricket Council has announced the new ranking in the test and one day international cricket. According to the detail of the ranking list of the batsmen, Steve Smith is on the first position, An De Villiars is on the second, Joy Root is present on the third number. In the batting list, Hashim Amla is on the fourth, Mathews is on the fifth position while Pakistani leading batsman, Younis Khan is on the sixth position. No other Pak player is present in the list of the leading batsmen in the top ten positions of the ICC world rankings of the batsmen.

In the bowling side of the ICC test ranking, Dale Steyn is still on the first position and Stuart Broad is on the second position. England leading pacer, James Andersen is on the fifth position while Mitchell Johnson of Australia is present on the sixth position. There were few test matches played among different teams and some players showed good performance, which can increase their position, and they are still creeping to the higher ranks. In the all round list of the ranking, Shakib ul Hassan is on the top, while Ashwin is on the second and Philander is on the third position.
