Younis Khan included in 30 players World cup 2015

Pakistan has included Younis Khan in the 30 possible players of World Cup 2015. The names of Shoaib Malik and Kamran Akmal are also present in the initial list prepared by the selectors. Yasir Shah, who performed superbly against Australia, will also be among the candidates while inclusion of Saeed Ajmal is conditional of ICC clearance.

According to details, ICC has advised all the participating teams of 2015 World Cup, to be held in Australia/New Zealand, to send the list of initial 30 players till 7th December 2014. Pakistan team will start series against New Zealand from this Sunday. The first ODI is scheduled to be held on 8th December and the initial squad has to be sent one day prior to that to ICC. That’s why, selectors have completed their job and the names of 30 players have been finalized.

Younis Khan, Shoaib Malik and Kamran Akmal are also in the list and the squad will be announced after its approval from the Chairman. So far, Saeed Ajmal’s name is also in the list but other options will be seen if ICC doesn’t clear him. The two spinners Yasir Shah and Zulfiqar Babar are also in the squad. On the other hand, selectors want to check the fitness of fast bowler Umar Gul by putting him in the Paksitan A team. He can participate in the T20 match against Afghanistan team on 15th November 2014 in Rawalpindi.
