Karachi, Pakistan popular and leading test player, Younis Khan has been playing test cricket for last 15 years and during this time, he played 102 test matches, in which he scored 8852 runs with the average of 53.97. He is now playing the first test match against England in the current series between Pakistan and England, which is being played in Dubai, UAE. Before start of the play, he needed only 19 runs to beat the record of another leading Pakistani test player and former test captain, Javed Miandad, who scored 8832 runs in 124 test matches in which 23 centuries are also included. Inzamam Ul Haq was on the second position, as he scored 8829 runs and 3 runs behind Javed Miandad. In the last innings of his test career, he was stumped out, when he was 3 runs away from the total test score of Javed Miandad.

Younis Khan hit a huge boundary over the heads of English fielders on the ball of Moeen Ali and he beat both highest totals from Pakistan and jumped from the third to the first position. Now he scored 8852 runs with another fantastic record of 30 test centuries, which are the most test centuries from Pakistan side.
