Younis and Azhar in Top Ten Batsmen in ICC Test Ranking

Dubai, Pakistan lost the test series against New Zealand and Australia on their home grounds but some Pakistani batsmen showed tremendous performances in these two test series. He scored triple century against West Indies in Dubai test and double century against Australia and he also scored 1000 runs in the calendar year. Younis Khan also made the ton during his recent career and his performance pushed up six points up and he reached at the 7th position in the ICC test ranking while Azhar Ali is present at the 6th position.

When ICC released the ICC test ranking of the batsmen, Steve Smith of Australia was on the top position in the test ranking and Indian skipper Virat Kohli is on the second position. Joy Root of England is present on the third position. Kan Williamson of New Zealand on fourth and David Warner of Australia is on the fifth position. Azhar Ali and Younis Khan of Pakistan reached to the sixth and seventh position respectively. Quinton de Cock of South Africa is on the eight position and AB de Villairs is present at the ninth and Hashim Amla is present on the tenth position in the fresh ICC test ranking.

In the list of the top ten bowlers in the test ranking, Ravichandran Ashwin of India is on the top position while Ravindra Jadeja is on the second position. Josh Hazzlewood of Australia is present on the third position in the list of the ICC test ranking of the bowlers. No Pakistani bowler is present in the list of the top ten bowlers of the ICC ranking. However, Yasir Shah is present on the 17th position and Wahab Riaz is present on his career best 20th position.
