Australian-Pakistani batsman Usman Khawaja has been given the title of “Water Boy” as he could not get a chance to play any match in India during last 4 months.
The last match of the Australian batsman was an ODI match against Pakistan in Sydney after which he could not play any other match. He was part of Australian test team in India but he could not appear even in the tour match. Later, he was selected in IPL by Rising Pune Supergiant for $195,000. Australian captain Steve Smith was the captain of RPS team and he could not play a match during the whole league and only provided the services of ‘water boy’.
Usman will now take some rest as he is not included in the Australian squad for Champions Trophy. Later in July, he will captain Australia A team against England in a 4 day match.
