Some reliable sources have confirmed that Ten Sports is going to ban the broadcasting of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in Pakistan. This media house is owned Sony currently. Ten Sports World Cup 2019 Broadcasting in Pakistan Banned.
The decision has been made after the banning of IPL broadcast matches in Pakistan because Pakistan has given the response to India, when it banned PSL coverage in India and they have cancelled the broadcasting rights of PSL, which was signed between PCB and IMG Reliance.
Sony Entertainment is the parent company of Ten Sports and it has run the industry-wide campaign in India performing their roles to get the PSC broadcasting suspended in India in the name of their national cause. This decision can be the huge blow but PTV Sports can broadcast the entire World Cup 2019 throughout Pakistan.
Ten Sports was previously owned by ZEE Network and now Sony Pictures Network got the rights for Ten Sports Network for $385 million in 2017.
