Sarfaraz Becomes First Pak Wicket Keeper Play County Cricket

Karachi, Sarfaraz Ahmed led Pakistani cricket team in the ICC Champions Trophy played during the month of June 2017 and Pakistani cricket team became victorious in this mega event. Now PCB has appointed him the captain of test, ODI and T20i formats and he will lead the national team in all these formats.

Now Sarfaraz Ahmed has signed an agreement with the Yorkshire to play the five matches of the T20 Blast tournament and he will become first Pakistani wicket keeper to play the county cricket. He has signed this brief agreement with the club and after getting visa, he will leave for England. Another Pakistani player, Imad Waseem will also leave for England to play the T20 blast tournament. Other Pakistani players, Muhammad Amir, Junaid Khan and Shahid Afridi are already reached there and they will play the T20 blast tournament.

He talked with British broadcasting company and said that he will play county cricket and it will increase his experience and it will also enhance professionalism in him as most of the international players play this type of cricket and they have improved their skills. He shows his desire that he will play more and more county cricket as and when he will get the chance from the Pakistani team engagements
