Sana Mir Resigns from Captaincy of Pakistani Women Cricket Team

Lahore, The captain of Pakistani women cricket team, Sana Mir decided to leave the captaincy of the women national team. She declared her resignation in the open letter, which she wrote in the name of PCB and it is released o the social media.

She wrote this open letter in response to the exposure of the secret report of the coach of Pakistani women cricket ream, Sabih Azhar and she criticized that Diana Baig was not included in the women cricket team despite of being in tremendous form. She said that the spinners especially the left arm spinner, who handed the top order batsmen through their stunning bowling. She said that her team lost 4 certain matches and there is lack of such players, who can play well in extreme pressure.

Sana Mir further said that it was her preference that nothing should be delivered to media but after revealing of the secret report of the team coach and the adverse remarks of the GM Women Wings and Chairman PCB, she adopted this way. She said that she could not continue with the present set up at any position. She said that she will present the detailed report for the improvement of women cricket after returning to the country at the end of August.
