Sachin Tendulkar appoints Ambassador of ICC world cup 2015

For the upcoming ODI world cup 2015, the ambassador for the world cup is Sachin Tendulkar according to the declaration by International Cricket Council.

Sachin Tendulkar was also the ICC ambassador for the world cup 2011 and now he has been made ambassador for the 2nd consecutive time. World cup 2015 will start from 14th February 2015 in New Zealand and Australia while Sachin Tendulkar will promote the world cup as an ambassador. In the world, cricket world cup is known as the 3rd biggest event.

Last year, Sachin Tendulkar took retirement from international cricket. During his 24-year long career, he played 200 test matches in which he scored 15921 runs with the help of 51 centuries and 68 fifties. He also played 463 ODIs and with the help of 49 centuries and 96 fifties, he scored 18426 runs in these matches. 200 n.o is his highest score in one day matches.  Tendulkar also played a T20 match in which he could only score 10 runs.
