Now the time has come again to enjoy with the second edition of most popular event in Pakistan, which is Pakistan Super League and this beautiful event will be played in UAE cricket grounds. The teams, which will play in this second season of PSL, reached Dubai and they will set to play for the PSL trophy 2017.
The trophy for 2nd edition of PSL was officially revealed at Dubai International Cricket Stadium and this trophy was prepared in just four months. It took prepare from renderings and mock ups to the final shape of the trophy. The chairman of PSL, captains and the franchise owners of all five participating teams revealed the trophy.

Format of the Competition
Each team will play T20 match two times against each other team in round robin format of PSL 2017. The top four winner teams will qualify for playoff stage of the tournament. In the group stage of PSL 2017, the winners will be awarded with two points, looser will not get any points but one point will be awarded to both teams, if the match ends with no result. If the match is ended with tied scores after completion of the overs, then both the teams will be given super over and the winner of the match will be decided through this super over.
Islamabad United will play in this event under the captaincy of Misbah ul Haq, Darren Sammy will lead his team, Peshawar Zalmi as Shahid Afridi handed over the captaincy of Zalmi to Sammy. Sarfaraz Ahmed will be captain of Quetta Gladiators and Kumar Sangakkara will lead his side, Karachi Kings while Brendon McCullum will be the captain of Lahore Qalandars.
Fixtures of PSL 2017
All of the group stage matches of PSL will be played at Dubai and Sharjah and it is announced by the chairman of PSL, that the final of the PSL 2017 will be played at Gadaffi Stadium Lahore.
