PCB Remove ban on Asif and Salman PCB to play T20

Lahore, International Cricket Council has removed ban on Muhammad Asif and Salman Butt to play domestic and international T20 cricket. Both the players were banned due to the spot fixing scandal in 2010 and Muhammad Aamer was also alleged in the same scandal and these three players had to face ban on their international cricket career and they were forced to ban to play the cricket matches.

Muhammad Amer has already completed his ban period of 5 years and he was allowed to play the domestic and international cricket. Remaining two players, Salman Butt and Muhammad Asif were banned for 10 years and 7years respectively. Now ICC has made the decision to change their ban period and reduced it to 5 years, which is now going to be completed on 01 Septembers and both players were declared free to resume their cricket career. After this, Lahore City Cricket Association invited both players to play their cricket from their side after including in their team. But PCB has stopped both players to join LCCA and start playing cricket before their final decision, which will be made within few days.
