After M Amir, the other culprits of spot fixing scandal M Asif and Salman Butt are also allowed by the Pakistan Cricket Board to play domestic cricket. Now the doors of domestic cricket have also been opened by PCB for Salman Butt and M Asif after M Amir. PCB officials told that now both the cricketers can participate in the domestic cricket as they have completed the program of giving lectures to young cricketers. The National one day tournament will be played in Karachi from 12th January in which both the cricketers will represent the team of WAPDA.
Three Pakistani cricketers M Asif, M Amir and Salman Butt were punished for 10 years in 2010 by ICC after their crime of spot fixing was proved while due to this act, they also had to spent few months in jail in London. Before that, PCB allowed M Amir to play domestic cricket and nowadays he is playing in BPL.
