Karachi, National Snooker team has won the world snooker championship, which was conducted in Ireland and now national snooker team has returned to the country. In the final match, National Snooker Team has defeated Iran team and won the world title.

While arriving at the Airport, the members of National Snooker Team comprising of Muhammad Sajjad and Muhammad Asif, said to the media persons that they had to face problems in the final match at the initial stages. They managed the final match and after going into the deficit of 3-0, they made come back and won the world Snooker Championship final with 5-3. They also said that they play for their country only and there is no financial benefit, to which they are fighting.

At this point, the president of Pakistan Snooker Federation, Alamgir Sheikh said that their National Snooker Team has worked hard and they won three world class titles in a year. He said that no government official came to welcome the National Snooker Team player and congratulate on their brilliant performance in the World Snooker Championship. He also said that their previous cheques are also pending for playing matches in China, Qatar and other countries and he hoped that prime minister of Pakistan will take care of the players.
