Pakistan Won First ODI Against Ire

Dublin, Pakistan is playing the one day international series against Ireland, which comprised of only two one day international matches and it is before the start of the ODI series against England. Pakistan played the first ODI match against Ireland on 18 August in which Pakistan defeated Ireland by 255 runs.

 

The match was started late due to rain and heavily wet outfield. Pakistan was invited to bat first and it took the chance to make big score. Sharjeel Khan scored 152 runs and other players, like Shoaib Malik scored 57, Muhammad Nawaz scored 53, and Muhammad Hafeez scored 37 runs. Pakistan scored 337 runs for six wickets in the allotted 47 runs and gave the target of 338 runs in the same overs. The batting line up of Ireland proved vulnerable and it could not face the devastating bowling of Pakistani bowlers. They could manage to score only 82 runs and all of the team was collapsed. Pakistan won this match easily and now the next match will be played on 20 August and both the teams are ready to play and perform well in this second one day international match.
