Pakistan vs India Blind T20 Cricket World Cup 2015 match details

Pakistan defeated India to start the Blind Cricket World Cup 2014 as defending champions. Haroon scored 84 runs and skipper Zeeshan Abbasi took five wickets and these two played major part in the victory.

Due to the death of Phil Hues, the 4th Blind Cricket World Cup started a day later. The first day matches of England vs Pakistan and Australia vs Sri Lanka were postponed on Thursday. The officials and cricketers of all 7 nations participated in the ceremony after death of Australian player Phil Hughes. The tournament started on Friday officially.

India scored 259 runs in their innings after they chose to bat with winning of toss. The main scorers were Ajay Redy 71, Vankit Swararao 63 and Jafar Iqbal 38. Pakistani captain Zeeshan Abbasi gave 23 runs for his 5 wickets. The openers of Pakistan were Badar Munir and M Jameel while Badar departed after just scoring 2 runs.

Then Jameel and Haroon scored 112 runs for 2nd wicket partnership. Jameel scored 74 before losing his wicket and Pakistani team achieved the target in 38th over. Haroon scored 84 and Anees 50 for the unbroken 3rd wicket partnership. England beat South Africa with 41 runs in the second match of Friday.
