Along with losing the match against West Indies by 150 runs, the national team has also made many strange records due to its unsatisfactory performance in this world cup 2015 match.

Due to poor bowling by and aggressive batting from Andre Russell, West Indies managed to score 310 runs in 50 overs while batting first in Christchurch. It is the highest score by any team against Pakistan in the world cup matches.

Pakistani team also made few records itself due to poor performance. Nasir Jamshed, Younis Khan, Haris Sohail and Ahmed Shahzad were the first four batsmen of Pakistani team who got out on just 1 run while previously it was Canada with such record when their first four batsmen lost their wickets for just 4 runs against Zimbabwe in 2006.

Pakistan lost this match against West Indies by 150 runs which is also the biggest defeat of Pakistani team in the world cup in terms of runs. Before that, New Zealand defeated Pakistan in the 2011 world cup with 110 runs.
