Dubai, International Cricket Council took action against Pakistani leg spin bowler, Yasir Shah and it imposed ban on the leg spin bowler after receiving the positive dope test result. His dope test was taken on 13 November during the one day series between Pakistan and England in Dubai. During this period, he was suffered with back pain and he got the treatment from his doctor and used some medicines. In his medication, some banned elements can also include, which show the positive dope test of the bowler.

According to the anti doping agency, the element of Chlortaledon is present in his medication and it is also found in his dope test, which is banned item in the list of medicines by ICC. Now ICC took action against him and it imposed ban on the bowler. It is said that that this matter will be considered under the provision of World Anti Doping codes and rules. The world anti doping agency will consider the punishment against the bowler and it can impose ban on the bowler and he will be restricted to play any kind of cricket. He was the most successful bowler of Pakistan national team and he completed his first ever 50 wickets in test cricket in very less number of test matches.
