Karachi, Pakistan set the record of the slow batting against West Indies and they played total 2271 dot balls in the five innings of the three test matches. Azhar Ali was the leading player, who played most of the dot balls as he played 530 dot balls and Misbah ul Haq played 444 balls, on which he did not make any run.

During the test series against the Caribbean, Pakistan cricket teams played against the young and inexperienced batting line up of West Indies. Pakistan cricket team played total 2823 balls against West Indies in which they  played 2271 dot balls and they made score on the remainig balls. During the Jamaica test, they played 894 balls in which they made score on 194 runs. In the second test matchn at Barbados, they played total 679 balls in which they made score on 182 balls. They played total 868 dot balls in the second test match. In the third test match, they made score on 176 balls but they played total 879 balls in the third test match.

The strike rate of Azhar Ali was 38.97 while the strike rate of Misbah ul Haq was 46.14. he is playing the last test match in this series and after this test series, he will retire from the test cricket.
