M Hafeez could not clear himself during an unconventional bowling test by PCB. All-rounder M Hafeez gave an unconventional test under Pakistan Cricket Board in Chenai (India). The bowling action of Hafeez was measured according to ICC rules in this test but Hafeez could not bend his arm under 15 degrees and during most of deliveries, his arm bent more than 15 degrees during this bowling test.

The result of this test has made it unlikely for PCB to appeal in ICC and now Hafeez might only play the upcoming ICC world cup 2015 as a batsman only.

After Saeed Ajmal, Hafeez is the 2nd Pakistani player whose bowling action has been declared illegal by ICC and now he also cannot bowl during international matches. Due to the same problem, Saeed Ajmal has announced that he’s not taking part in the upcoming ICC world cup 2015.
