Pakistan cricket chief selector Inzamam ul Haq says that he is in favor of making the same captain for all the three formats of cricket which is a hint that changes are expected in the team.
During a press conference, the chief selector said that it was wrong to give any statement during Australian tour. He himself selects the team but opinion of captain and coach is also given importance. For Australian tour, best possible team was selected including those performing well in first class cricket but players are facing lack of fitness. It’s wrong to say that nothing was thought before including M Hafeez as he was the best ODI player last year.
Inzamam added that team requires big changes but he doesn’t want to name anyone. Chance will be given to those players in the team that perform well. Performance in PSL will also be considered to select new players.
