Gayle breaks McCullum’s sixes record in T20

Brendon McCullum’s record of most sixes in T20 international cricket has been broken by Chris Gayle. Chris Gayle has now hit 98 sixes in T20 cricket after hitting 11 sixes against England while the New Zealand’s batsman had hit 91 sixes. In this list, Shahid Afridi is at 5th spot with 70 sixes. Australian batsman Aaron Finch has the record of most sixes in 1 inning with 14 sixes. Prior to this inning, Chris Gayle had hit 10 sixes against South Africa in a T20 match. Chris Gayle scored his first century in world T20 in 2007 T20 world cup against South Africa and this is his second century in world T20.
