He also praised the wonderful performances of the young players of Pakistan like Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan and Hassan Ali and they have proved that Pakistan is the fertile land to produce good cricketers and it and the brave captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed will lead Pakistan to the new horizon of success.

Shahid said that Pakistani cricket team did not take care of the good performance in the mega events against India and they played bravely and put India under pressure. Initially, Fakhar Zaman was feeling difficulty in playing the strokes and Azhar Ali took the responsibility of his seniority and he started playing aggressively and made the scores quickly. When they came out of the pressure, then young opener started playing aggressively and he made good score and also completed his maiden century. He also played confidently against the Indian spinners.

There was the only way to put under pressure the Indian team that they should get out the top order batsmen quickly. Muhammad Amir did his job well and he bowled out the Indian opener Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan early by his magic deliveries. Shadab Khan and Hassan Ali also performed well and they also took the wickets early and made the journey to success easy.
