5 Companies buy PSL 2016 Teams

All the 5 teams of Pakistan Super League have been purchased by five companies out of total 7 bidders on Thursday. The names of the purchasers are announced by the Governing Body of PSL. According to the announcement, the successful bidders were Omer Associates, Haier, Venture Capital of UAE, Qatar Oil Company and ARY Media Group. Omer Associates purchased Quetta for $1.1 million, Haier purchased Peshawar for $1.2 million, Venture Capital of UAE acquired the team of Islamabad for $1.5 million, the second largest bidder was Qatar Oil Company that purchased Lahore for $2.4 million while the highest bidder was ARY Media Group which purchased Karachi for $2.6 million.
