Harare, The triangular series was being played among Pakistan, Australia and Zimbabwe and in this series Pakistan got the victory after defeating Australia by 6 wickets in the final match of the event. The event was played among the three teams and Pakistan and Australia won three matches and they got 12 points and reached to the final of the event while Zimbabwe lost all four matches.

The final match of the event was interesting and it was played on 08 July 2018 between Pakistan v Australia. In the final match, Australia batted first and scored 183 runs in 20 overs and Pakistan chased the target successfully and it got the targeted scored. Fakhar Zaman scored 91 runs and he remained top scorer from Pakistani side and he also remained the second highest scorer of the event after Australian skipper, Aeron Finch, who made 306 runs in this event. Fakhar made 278 runs while Solomon Mire remained third highest scoring batsman, who made 212 runs.
