New Delhi, India and Sri Lanka are playing the third test match of the current series in Feroze Shah Kotla Stadium, New Delhi and Sri Lankan players had to wear the mask during the match because of the extensive air pollution. Indian capital city, Delhi is included in the most polluted city of the world. When they celebrate Diwali, then this ratio of increase in air pollution is enhanced many times more than usual. The citizens of the city are also worried about this situation and the Sri Lankan players were also worried, when they played the match and they had to wear the mask.

When the third test match was started between India v Sri Lanka, the player so Sri Lanka entered in the ground after lunch break and they wore masks on their faces, as they experienced troubles during their fielding. They had to stop the match many times. The Sri Lankan captain, Dinesh Chandimal complained to the umpire about the polluted situation and the players had to face problems. The situation became so much worse that one Sri Lankan player, Suranga Lakmal was sent out of the ground when he got cross during the match and only 10 players of Si Lankan cricket team left in the ground.
