Sri Lanka Says Yes to Play Test Series in Pakistan

Lahore, International Cricket Council (ICC) is going to conduct the ICC test championship and an important progress is being carried out to revive the cricket in Pakistan and Sri Lanka wants to play the matches in Pakistan. Sri Lanka Says Yes to Play Test Series in Pakistan.

According to the sources, Pakistan cricket board (PCB) requested to the Sri Lankan cricket board with the suggestion of playing two test matches in Pakistan and Sri Lankan Board has given positive indications in this regard. Further negotiations will be made between the two cricket boards and after this, it is hoped to finalize this suggestion.

PCB has shown its desire to host two test matches of Sri Lanka in Pakistan of ICC test championship, which will be played in Lahore and Karachi. PCB is negotiating with the officials of the Sri Lankan cricket board and after the hopeful response from Sri Lanka, the board officials are sure that the matters will be settled very soon.

After the successful holding of the matches of Pakistan Super League in Pakistan and the normal security position in Pakistan, ICC is sure and please and they have shown their indication if both the boards are agreed to play in Pakistan, then they will not have any objection over these test matches being played in Pakistan.

Pakistan cricket board is also negotiating with Bangladesh cricket board and the option is given to Bangladesh to play with UAE in Pakistan but there are more chances that the matches with Bangladesh will be played in UAE.

After the start of the ICC test championship, Pakistani team will play the test matches with Australia in their home ground so Pakistani team will tour to Australia during December to play the two test matches there. There are total 9 teams, which will play the ICC test championship and the final between two top teams will be played in 2021.
