PSL final match had more views than Pakistan v India match, according to PCB’s CEO Subhan Ahmed as he was briefing to parliamentary committee.
According to Subhan Ahmed, the TV rating during India v Pakistan match and PSL 2 final match in Lahore remained 10 and 21 points respectively which is a clear difference. There were total 9 players during PSL 2 match which proved that the decision to organize PSL 2 final match was correct.
The CEO told about the future plans that Lahore and Karachi will host 4 matches each of PSL 3 as total 8 matches of the next tournament will be played in Pakistan. The officer told regarding spot fixing case that they suspended 5 players in this case out of which 4 are under investigation while 1 has been punished. Nasir Jamshed is in England and he can’t come to Pakistan as National Crime Agency is investigating against him.
