Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule of the Pakistan Super League 2, which will be played in Dubai and Sharjah. In this event, the group matches will be played among different teams, then the play off matches will be started. The final of the event, PSL 2 will be arranged at Lahore and strict security will be provided to the finalist teams as well as the foreign players, who will play their T20 match at Lahore. The final of the event will be played on 07 March.
Zimbabwe cricket team played the one day international matches and twenty20 matches in Lahore two years before. Now amid the quickly changing security situation in this region, the PSL officials take the initiative of conducting the final of the event in Lahore on the scheduled date. To play the final of the event, it is necessary that minimum players should come to Pakistan to play the final of the event. Every team has seven foreign players and at least four foreign players, who will play in the final of the event.
This event got tremendous success in the first edition and it will also be very popular in its second edition. The previous edition was continued for 16 days and this edition will take 18 days to complete. The inaugural ceremony will be conducted on 09 February in Dubai Stadium and the first match of this event will be played between defending champion Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi. The franchises have done their agreements with the players to ensure their participation in the event. Most of the players are ready to come to Lahore and they will get extra compensation and they will get done their insurance.
