Lahore, Pakistan One day Pentangular Cup will be started from 14 April and five regional teams will participate in this event. Pakistan Cricket Board has selected the names of the players, who will be part of these teams to play the Pentangular cup. The teams will be comprised of all provinces like Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhaw, Sindh, Federal capital and Baluchistan. The players are placed in the categories of batsman, bowler, all rounder, regional and emerging players. Umar Akmal, Muhammad Rizwan, Anwar Ali, Imad Waseem and Fakhar Zaman will lead their sides in this event.
The chief selector, Inzamam ul Haq has declared the complete squad of these teams in which Umar Akmal is the captain of Punjab team. Other players of Punjab team are Kamran Akmal, Salman Butt, Bilawal Bhatti, Zulfiqar Babar, Saad Naseem, Nasir Nawaz, Umar Amin, Faheem Ashraf, Khushdil Shah, Hammad Azam, Arsal Sheikh, Junaid Khan, Abdul Rehman, Muzammal and Raza Ali Dar.
The team of Sindh is comprised of the players like Anwar Ali as captain, and other players are Fawad Alam, Hassan Mohsin, Saif Badar, Mir Hamza, Muhammad Hassan, Khurram Manzoor, Roman Raees, Zain Abbas, Muhammad Nawaz, Saud Shakeel, Asif Zakir, Usama Mir, Umar Gul and Akbar ur Rehman. Imad Waseem is the captain of Federal capital team and other players of federal team are Sami Aslam, Hussain Talat, Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Hafeez, Abdullah Shafique, Hassaan Khan, Sohail Khan, Muhammad Abbas, Zohaib Ahmed, Sameen Gul, Haris Sohail, Abid Ali, Sarmad Bhatti and Rohail Nazir.
Fakhar Zaman is leading the Baluchistan team in this event and there are other players, who are Amir Yamin, Sohaib Maqsood, Khalid Usman, Ghulam Mudassir, Jamal Wahab, Aziz Ullah, Ramiz Aziz, Bismillah Khan, Taimoor Khan, Usman Shinwari, Imam ul Haq, Saad Ali, Azhar Ali and Agha Salman. Muhammad Rizwan is the captain of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw and other players of the team are Adil Yamin, Shadab Khan, Waqas Maqsood, Taj Wali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Zafar Gohar, Imran Khan Senior, Shoaib Malik, Israr Ullah, Nabi Gul, Imran Butt, Muhammad Naeem, Muhammad Sami, and Kashif Bhatti.
The event of Pak Pentangular cup will be started from 14 April and the matches will be played at different venues. The final of the event will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
