Lahore, The Central contract committee conducted its annual meeting in which the names of the players were brought under consideration. In the initial discussion of the committee, various names are missing and the names of various new players are included, who are showing good performance in the international cricket and the new contracts have been signed with them. The names of leading cricketer, Shahid Afridi and leading off spin bowler, Saeed Ajmal have been dropped from the list of the final players and now they will be deprived of getting huge amount as compensation from the board.
The T20 captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed is promoted to the category A and Imad Waseem to the category B. there are some other players, who will get the place in the new central contract in which Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Nawaz, Hassan Ali, Sohail Khan, Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif. The meeting of the Central Contract committee of PCB was conducted and the list of the players was presented there and their compensation was discussed in this meeting. The players, who face the fitness problems and the players at the end of their career, their names are removed from the central contract. The names of Haris Sohail, Sohaib Maqsood, Fawad Alam and Umar Amin are also not included in the central contract. The committee will hand over the final list of the players to the board and final approval will be made in the first week of October.
