Pakistan defeated West Indies by 136 runs in the 3rd ODI match of the series after which it has won the series 3-0.
Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Stadium hosted this 3rd match during which Pakistan batted first and scored 308 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Later, West Indies was bowled out in 44 overs for just 172 runs. Danesh Ramdin scored 37 runs and remained top scorer for West Indies side. Bravo, Samuels and Holder also scored in double figures. M Nawaz with 3 wickets and Wahab Riaz with 2 wickets remained leading wicket takers from Pakistan.
In the 1st innings, the 85 runs opening partnership was provided by captain Azhar Ali and Sharjeel Khan. Sharjeel lost his wicket for the score of 38. Later, Azhar and Babar Azam scored 147 runs for 2nd wicket partnership. Both scored centuries as Azhar got 101 runs and Babar scored 117 runs in 106 balls. Sarfraz scored 24 runs and remained not out.
The man of the match and man of the series awards were given to Babar Azam for his superb performance in the match and the whole series.
