Pakistan and Sri Lanka will play their first T20i match on 26 October 2017. Both the teams are in good forms and they have included some new and talented players in their sides, which make their positions strong. Some of the Sri Lankan players refused to come to Pakistan to play one T20i match and after that Sri Lankan cricket board has made some changes. After refusal from captain, Upul Tharana, Thisara Parera will be captain of Sri Lankan cricket team. Both the teams have played 15 T20i matches against each other, in which Pakistan won 10 matches while Sri Lankan won 5 matches. The match between Pakistan vs Sri Lanka will be played at Sheikh Zaid cricket stadium and the viewers will come in large number in the first T20i match between Sri Lanka vs Pakistan.
