Birmingham, Pakistani cricket team will play the warm up match against Australia before the start of the ICC Champions Trophy. Pakistan is playing its second warm up match against Australia in Edgbaston cricket ground in Birmingham. Pakistan played the first warm up match against Bangladesh in which Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 2 wickets.
When the first warm up match was started, the Pakistani bowling line up was failed and Bangladeshi batsmen played aggressively and they mad 341 runs in the allotted 50 overs. Pakistani batting line could not respond well but in the end, Faheem Ashraf played aggressively and he made 64 runs on just 30 balls and he managed to win the lost match. Babar Azam and Azhar Ali could not make good score but Shoaib Malik made 72 runs and Muhammad Hafeez scored 49 runs.
Pakistani cricket team will try to play well against Australia and it can boost its morale in the ICC Champions Trophy matches. The top order batting line will have to adjust with the weather condition so that they can make good score and they can manage to win the match. Muhammad Amir was not given the chance to play against Bangladesh but there is chance that he will be selected in the team in place of Wahab Riaz. Faheem Ashraf has proved that he is the excellent all rounder and he can show wonderful performance in the coming matches. He also played various aggressive innings in the domestic cricket.
