Lahore, Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the 16 member Pakistani test squad to play the test matches against Sri Lanka in UAE.

The Chief selector of PCB, Inzamam Ul Haq has announced the test squad of Pakistan, which will play the two test matches series against Sri Lanka in UAE. Yasir Shah is also included in the test squad despite of the suspects on his fitness. Azhar Ali is also included in the test squad despite of the knee injury. Ahmed Shahzad and Muhammad Rizwan have been dropped from the test squad. The chief selector conducted a press conference in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and he announced the names of the Pakistani players in which Sarfaraz Ahmed is the captain of the national cricket team while other players are included with Azhar Ali, Shan Masood, Sami Aslam, Babar Azam, Asad Shafique, Haris Sohail, Usman Salah Uddin, Yasir Shah, Muhammad Asghar and Bilal Asif. In the national team of Pakistan, the pacers like Mir Hamza, Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Abbas, Wahab Riaz and Hassan Ali are also included in the national team.

The first test match between Pakistan vs Sri Lanka will be started from 28 September and the second test match will be commenced from 06 October 2017. Both the teams of Sri Lanka vs Pakistan will be played the two test matches, five one day international matches and three T20 international matches. The last T20 match is schedules in Lahore with subject to the provision of security.
