Dubai, Pakistan got a chance to get the sixth position in the one day international ranking. Pakistan will have to beat India in the expected final of the Champions Trophy. If Pakistan defeats England in the semi final match and it reaches to the final of this event, then it will have to defeat India in the final so that it can get more and more points to make its position better in the ODI ranking.
Pakistan beat South Africa and Sri Lanka in the group stage matches and the team has gained three more points in the ODO ranking and now they have total 91 points. If Pakistan cannot get success against England, then it will have to lose one point and the points will remain 90 on the ODI points table.
Pakistani batsmen showed poor performance in the group stage matches and their ranking on the points table is affected. Babar Azam lost one point, Muhammad Hafeez lost two points and he is reached to 22nd position and Babar Azam is at the 8th position. Azhar Ali reached to 42nd and Shoaib Malik reached to 48th position. Hassan Ali improved his position and reached to 19th position but Muhammad Irfan has reduced his position and reached to 25th position. Muhammad Hafeez has maintained its position at the 2nd number in the list of all-rounders.
