Pak Hockey Team no going for Tournament in India

Lahore, India refused to give visa to Pakistani players to play the Junior Hockey World Cup and now Pakistan has decided not to participate in any hockey event, which will be played in India.

The Indian government has shown its traditional stubbornness and Moodi administration refused to give visa to the players of Pakistan junior hockey team to participate in the junior hockey world cup, which will be played in India. After passing the dead line, the international hockey federation dropped out Pakistani team from the event and they included Malaysian team in the event. Now the national junior hockey team could not play the tournament despite of being qualified for the world cup due to conspiracies of India.

Pakistan Hockey Federation has responded and decided that they will not participate in any hockey event, which will be played in India. The secretary of hockey federation, Shahbaz Senior told media that they submitted the application for grant of visa in the Indian embassy on 24 October but the visa was not granted to Pakistani hockey team till the fixed date and the Pakistani National Team is dropped from the world cup. They also demanded with the International and Asian Olympic Federation that they should not give the hosting of any event of hockey because this attitude is damaging Pakistan hockey and the young players and it is also not good for the hockey game.

It is to be clear that the junior hockey world cup will be played from 8 Dec to 18 Dec in Lucknow, India in which 16 teams will participate in this event. Pakistan won the mega event of hockey in 1979 and Pakistan won the third position in the mega event in 1982, 1985 and 1989 and Pakistan was defeated in the final of the mega event by Germany in 1993.
