London, Pakistan beat England cricket team in the first test match at Lords, which was played from 24 May to 28 May 2018. Both the teams faced each other in the first test match at Lords in which England won the toss and decided to bat first but they could not pile up huge total and the whole team was out on only 184 runs.

In response to the total of the first inning of English cricket team, Pakistan started its first inning and it scored 363 runs, in which Babar Azam scored 68 runs and he was retired hurt during the inning. Pakistan got the total lead of 179 runs in the 1st inning against England. When English team started the second inning, it faced the crucial situation when their first six players were got out at mere 110 runs. Then the seventh wicket partnership was developed between Butler and Bess and they scored 127 runs in their partnership and took the total runs to 242 runs at the end of the second inning. England gave the target of 64 runs to Pakistan to win the first test match against England.
When Pakistan started the second inning, it faced the first loss, when Azhar Ali was bowled out by Andersen in the start of the inning. The Haris Sohail came on the wicket and he got the target with the fellow player, Imam ul Haq and Pakistan won the match by 9 wickets. Haris Sohail scored 39 runs and Imam ul Haq scoed 18 runs. Muhammad Amir and Muhammad Abbas took 4 wickets each in the second inning and Shadab Khan got two wickets. Muhammad Abbas grabbed total eight wickets in the Lords test match and he was declared the man of the match award.
