Dubai, Pakistan Cricket Team is going to play the test series against New Zealand and head coach of the team is leaving New Zealand with the national team. The head coach, Mickey Arthur praised the batting style of Umar Akmal, who has tremendous talent of batting. He said that the batting style of this young batsman is perfect according to the demands of the modern cricket. There are some weak points in the batting of Babar Azam but it will not create problems in his batting.
According to the detail, the head coach that Umar Akmal was included in the national team for T20I and ODIs series but he played only one ball in the T20I match. He was not included in all three one day international matches and Umar Akmal had to stay away from the team and watched the match sitting on the bench outside the ground. He further added that the batting style of Umar Akmal has great similarity with the demand of the modern cricket and he can play well and score big during the matches. He scored 40 runs on just 25 balls and he showed his capacity to change the situation of the match. He said the Umar Akmal should know the requirements of the modern cricket and if he does not fulfill these requirements, then he will not get further chances in the international cricket.
The combination set against the Caribbean is going well and he did not get chance to include in the national team to play the match. The coach also said that Babar Azam has the potential to bear the pressure in the test matches just like in the one day international matches but there are some issues on the short pitched delivery, which is not rightly said good. He is trying hard to face the bouncer and he will learn to play the bouncers well very soon.
He further said that it is necessary to bring improvement in the one day cricket and Pakistan has shown some good play against England, then against West Indies in UAE and Pakistan will play well against Australia in the next series.
