Suspended cricketer has been suspended from cricket for 1 year and fined Rs. 1 million due to spot fixing case.

In Lahore, a press conference was conducted by PCB legal team which said that  will remain away from cricket for at least 6 months during his punishment of 1 year. During first six months, if he paid his fine, appeared in PCB anti corruption lecture and maintained discipline then his remaining punishment can be pardoned. He will remain away from any type of cricket and his central contract will be suspended during this period.

M Irfan said during the occasion that his suspension started on 14th March 2017 due to spot fixing case. He rejected both the offers that he received for spot fixing but could not told PCB about these offer for which he is seeks pardon from whole nation.

 will lost Rs. 3 million as he receives Rs. 500,000 per month through central contract while he will also not be a part of team during ICC Champions trophy.
