Foreign security experts visited National Stadium Karachi to view the security arrangements being made in this stadium in order to conduct the final match of the Pakistan Super League 3. The team of the experts of ICC has shown their satisfaction over the security arrangements. The team of the international experts for Global Sports managed the press conference to share their satisfaction over the security issues.

The international security team was comprised of Deone and Reg Dickason and they have evaluated the arrangements for the final of PSL 3. The experts said that the arrangements meet with the international standards and they are necessary for the foreign teams to tour Pakistan. Dickason said that the complete drill and professional presentation were presented to them and the security agencies and the efforts of PCB was satisfactory and it has encouraged them, which is also reflected in the report. This report will be submitted to PCB and ICC. The security team has shown their satisfaction with the arrangements and they will submit the reports within seven days.
Mock Exercise
When the security team was visiting National Stadium Karachi, the full dress rehearsal was managed by the security personnel and the arrangements were shown to the international security experts. The team was received at the airport and they were taken to the hotel of the players and then to the stadium.
Hundreds of police officials and the rangers officials were engaged in demonstrating the exercise and the roads going to the National Stadium from Dalmia, New Town, Civic Center and Karsaz were remained closed for the public and the entry to the main building of the stadium was also closed. The mobile hospital was set up and it was fully functional to demonstrate the emergency response.
Now the report of the security team will play the main role in getting the clearance from ICC and other boards, who will allow their players to go to Pakistan to play the matches of PSL. Before this, the tours of World XI and Sri Lankan cricket teams remained successful and these tours will play the decisive role in making smooth the way for finals of PSL 3 in Pakistan. PSL 3 will be started from 18 February and two play offs are planned to be played in Lahore and one final match will be played in Karachi. The two semi finals will be played on 21 and 22 March and the final will be played on 25th Match.
